MEDICAL TRUST DEALS WITH FINANCIAL WOES

Otaihape Health Ltd was established in the 2006 and grandly known as Integrated Health and Disability Service. The new community trust, in the form of Otaihape health LTD would look after and maintain all the health service delivery in the local region. This was again done in accordance and jointly with two already existing trusts as well as the O'Taihape Maori Komiti.

Find out how the charities are benefited by charity volunteer work of the children through We Care Project. It also acts as fundraising for schools as the supporting schools are rewarded with contributions to acquire necessary technological equipment. Visit www.wecaregib.com for more information.

There were some issues when it came to talking about medical facilities or for that matter retaining doctors, surgeons in Taihape. Thus the main idea behind the set up of this trust was to provide with avant-garde facilities and medical equipments to doctors and thus provide for better health and care for the local residents. For the purpose the Ruanui Trust was set up to better assist the workings of the town’s health care facility for elders Ruanvi House. About $2.2 million worth of investments was proposed in the year 2006 by the WDHB.

This would thoroughly refurbish and renovate the heath care facilities in the town. But then this new trust as to be set up would end up providing inpatient, continuing care and community care services. The plans at the heart of it was looking at making optimum use of the towns limited medical services and help these practitioners serve the people better by further medically equipping them with the advanced technologies.

None the less Otaihape Health Ltd (OHL) which got its funding from the WDHB ended up deeper in debts which it was finding difficult to pay back. Right from running inpatient services to recruiting and retaining staff became financial problems which were very difficult to be dealt with. As of now the future of OHL remains unsure and bleak. This is even as WDHB ponders about the money it spent on OHL.

ASSISTED LIVING CONCEPTS OF MENOMONEE FALLS WISCONSIN” LOOKS AT HEAVY PENALTY IN THE EYE

State officials have issued an order to a Wisconsin company to discontinue giving health care services at four facilities. The company in the mean time is going to make an appeal in the court against this. A very heavy fine of $262,500 was levied on the “Assisted Living Concepts of Menomonee Falls, Wis”.

We Care is a public awareness project where active participation is essential to promote community development. Visit www.wecaregib.com for more information.

As if to make a further strong statement of how firm they are on their judgment, the state officials will be charging extra penalty for every day that the company continues with its services at Mey House in Egg, Harbor Township Granville House in Burlington and Lindsay House in Pennsville. Another facility this order is also aiming at is the Goldfinch House in Bridgeton. This last one is however unoccupied as of now. The company in the mean time has to face the entire state officials wrath every since it came under their scrutiny for unethical behavior.

The facility would simply discharge off any patient without even properly healing them if they ran out of their life savings and looked at paying by Medicaid. While New Jersey's former ombudsman for the elderly felt that if the Legal case continues in the court of law and an immediate decision is not come to then the very local residents are going to be at risk of not getting a medical assistance in times of need.

Assisted Living President and chief executive officer Laurie Bebo stated they were in the process of conversing to multiple dwellings or for that matter boarding homes under Department of Community Affairs rule. But now this rough decision from the department of health is going to greatly hurt the peace in the heart of the tenants who still lodge at the facilities.

We Care has provided breast cancer charity & diabetes support to Breast Cancer Support Gibraltar & Gibraltar Diabetic Association respectively. It is a Gibraltar healthcare initiative to provide improved Breast Cancer support & Diabetes support in Gibraltar.

A NEW FUTURE FROM THE VERY SEAS

It wasn’t long ago that man led s relatively simpler life. The early nineteenth century saw New Bedford, Massachusetts as being a city that “Lit the World”. Back then fuel for lighting at night’s time meant whale oil.

The fame of New Bradford spread far and wide even as it developed a reputation. Then came the age of petrol, even as this new source of fuel was discovered who would have guessed that it would change the very course of humanity in the coming decades.

We Care Project include community care social work activities list from which the children select any of the community care work translating into Gibraltar community development. Visit www.wecaregib.com for more information.

But like they say a past is never a past for it shows up again to play a role in the future. As though remaining true this saying, the city has again caught the fancy of the people even as a 130-turbine project seems all set for construction by Cape Wind.

Being the most vital part of the economy of the states in the New England Region, the sea has provided them with food, transportation, apart from giving jobs to hundreds and hundreds more. None the less now with great scope as provided by renewable energy projects and telecommunications cables, everyone is looking at the oceans with a renewed vigor.

FLIP project includes participation of local students to provide nonprofit fundraising ideas for charity to create community awareness in Gibraltar amongst the teenagers.

The governments as well as big corporations are only planning sources which will meet with human needs on a mass scale without damaging the environment in any which ways. The Massachusetts Ocean Partnership has even thoroughly started working towards this developing a unique and thorough ocean plan. The New England region has for sure come a long way from whale oil to today setting up of the advanced wind turbines. But for once, this time round things look bright.

AMIDST BLOOD, FIRE, RAGE AND CHAOS, WHAT SOOTHES A SOLDIER IS A MERE LETTER

He fights fearlessly but with tears in his eyes. He is ashamed at the end of the day for he has killed another one of his own kind, friend or foe he knows not. He is disgusted at himself for his deeds he commits on a daily basis. He shall carry the stone of that guilt to his very grave and beyond. But yet he fights day in and day out, he continues to kill.

Amidst this, all that brings a rare calm to his heart is a letter. A letter from a beloved, gift from a brother, photo of a sweetheart and sweater woven by mother is all that heals him. If nothing else then a mere pair of socks from a stranger who cares helps a lot. In the end in living hell, these little things are the only connection of a soldier with humanity and what it feels like to be human, simply human.

A few good men like Tanner Adams understand this and do their best to keep the very spirits of those army fellas alive. His “socks for the troops project” got him the love of troops as well as the respect of one and all. Rita Redd is a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 113.

She is also among the founders of the “Because We Care troop support project”. She spoke highly of Mr. Tanner’s noble deeds and is happy that a few good men like him still exist who atleast respect the selfless services of those troops with their lives on the line there.

Their group has been constantly sending boxes to the troops every month with letters and gifts showing they care. Whenever Rita and her fellow members get the many return letters and e-mails as sent back by the troops they are happy no ends she says. The soldiers stick these letters as sent by Rita and her fellows on their barrack walls.

MENTALLY CHALLENGED KIDS TO GET SPECIAL PLAY GROUND COURTESY ROTARY DONATION

There is reason for joy amidst the mentally challenged kids at Kitsap Mental Health Services Madrona Day Treatment School. For a solid donation of $1,500 from the Rotarian club members greatly boosted the dreams of two ladies Alanna Nixon and Paris Harrison.

Both of these had the most noble of hearts and decided to venture out raising enough money do something for the lesser fortunate mentally challenged kids at the special school. The duo, managed to raise about $37,000. This in itself speaks volumes about their achievement and dedication as to better the lives of the poor kids who need constant support and love of others to survive in this rude world.

This playground in turn would be a specially equipped one unlike the usual ones. It would be designed and structured for the mentally challenged kids suffering from autism and other disabilities. The playground is likely titled Kids Koye and will be a great source of joy for the little children.

The FLIP project encourages local students to become involved in communal & charitable giving in Gibraltar. Visit http://www.flip.gi for more information.

Members of the rotary club were deeply touched and heartfelt at the duo who presented their plans with utmost dedication and conviction. There was a playful Great Kitsap Duck Race held which helped garnering of the funds to help in the construction of the playground. Many people enthusiastically attended and were a part of the event. They even bought tickets for the same. This in turn helped raising the donation sum from the function.
