ASSISTED LIVING CONCEPTS OF MENOMONEE FALLS WISCONSIN” LOOKS AT HEAVY PENALTY IN THE EYE

State officials have issued an order to a Wisconsin company to discontinue giving health care services at four facilities. The company in the mean time is going to make an appeal in the court against this. A very heavy fine of $262,500 was levied on the “Assisted Living Concepts of Menomonee Falls, Wis”.

We Care is a public awareness project where active participation is essential to promote community development. Visit www.wecaregib.com for more information.

As if to make a further strong statement of how firm they are on their judgment, the state officials will be charging extra penalty for every day that the company continues with its services at Mey House in Egg, Harbor Township Granville House in Burlington and Lindsay House in Pennsville. Another facility this order is also aiming at is the Goldfinch House in Bridgeton. This last one is however unoccupied as of now. The company in the mean time has to face the entire state officials wrath every since it came under their scrutiny for unethical behavior.

The facility would simply discharge off any patient without even properly healing them if they ran out of their life savings and looked at paying by Medicaid. While New Jersey's former ombudsman for the elderly felt that if the Legal case continues in the court of law and an immediate decision is not come to then the very local residents are going to be at risk of not getting a medical assistance in times of need.

Assisted Living President and chief executive officer Laurie Bebo stated they were in the process of conversing to multiple dwellings or for that matter boarding homes under Department of Community Affairs rule. But now this rough decision from the department of health is going to greatly hurt the peace in the heart of the tenants who still lodge at the facilities.

We Care has provided breast cancer charity & diabetes support to Breast Cancer Support Gibraltar & Gibraltar Diabetic Association respectively. It is a Gibraltar healthcare initiative to provide improved Breast Cancer support & Diabetes support in Gibraltar.

  1. I think the Federal government should look into this next. They have ignored the state of NJ since 2007 and have not changed their ways. They still discharge seniors as they become eligible for Medicaid. This attitude is apparent across the country in the more that 215 assisted Living homes they operate. They care for over 9500 seniors! Many who have noone to look after them. The State of NJ should be commended for all the hard work uncovering this fraud, wake up America this is happening in your state also...Call for an investigations from Calif to NY and put a stop to this defrauding Seniors...
